Happy Leap Day 2016.
From Rishton there are various places from which to view the canal, and this one is from Petre Crescent, a nice peaceful spot, where there are few ducks and swans at this time of year. They tend to group up around the tow path beside the canal café, where they are given plenty of treats by the walkers and they seem to just know when to expect feeding.
After the blue skied days of last week, it is very cold again, but clear and dry.
I went to the local Co op to buy a little bunch of daffodils, which look lovely as the buds open. I walked to a nearby woodland to see the clumps of daffodils beginning to show colour, but they are still out numbered by the snowdrops.
On with the housework.
