Lavender

Stoopid blip uploaded yesterday's photo to today.....grrr. Now have to start again

Anyhoo...today I was irked at early doors by a numpty driving up my a**e on the way to work. As you approach the bridge there is a bend and I slow as you never know if there is one car or ten in front. I glanced in my rear mirror and saw the whites of eyes the driver behind me. This is never a good thing. I ignored it....then as I went round the roundabout and onto the bridge I looked again. He was about four inches behind me. A wee tap on the brakes and some joy was mine from seeing the shocked look on his face. He dropped back :) Small pleasures

A veeeerrry dull day at work. Its a quiet time of year for us and most of my chums are on hols or covering other offices. The day dragged. I was glad to get back to the bosom of my family

Normally, at this time of year, the morning sun lights up the front garden and shows of the bright green and contrasting purples of the lavender. This is yet to happen this year......
