First Outing of the year

It has not rained for several days but is threatening to do so tomorrow so out comes the mower today. The lawn is still very soft but there is no longer any standing water. I cut the dampest areas twice, the rest had three cuts, the blades being lowered between runs. The smell of cut grass is still delightful.
Having spent the whole day at it I must say the grass does look a lot better and I certainly had a good day.
