Buying money?

It's Monday, so it must be time for a #leithwalkshop. After a quick trip out this morning for some chores, it was a quiet writing day punctuated by a couple of calls/skypes. The second one was interesting. A colleague at another university is updating a book that I featured in that was published in the late 1990s on women in law. Hmmm. In some ways a lot has changed, and some other ways not.

Later it was book group. Always fun, and delicious food. I liked the book (Alice Thompson, The Book Collector), but the others didn't.

I'll not comment on the juxtaposition, at the Foot of the Walk, of a "money shop" and a pub (Central Bar) that opens at breakfast time.
