Number 5!

We went for a long walk this afternoon, starting off from the house, through the village, by road to begin with, then some tracks, and finally a path through the Forest, through Samoreau and on to the edge of Champagne-sur-Seine - my Fitbit reckoned it was 7  1/2 milese.  We were walking up on a ridge, and had been hoping for some views over the river, which we finally got in Champagne-sur-Seine, but through the Forest the path ran parallel to a long, high stone wall, must have been the boundary of some huge estate, which blocked us from the view.
It wasn't really a very exciting walk, so I didn't get many photographs, but we were amused by this gateway - they didn't want you to be in any doubt that it was number 5! The other side of the gateway was adorned with even more number 5's!
