Did you win?

I (Annie) took the torch into a primary school today and it was wonderful to see the sheer excitement on the children's faces. Favourite question in school Q&As so far:

"In the torch relay, did you win?"

Second favourite:

"Are you competing in the Olympics?"

Very kind of them to ask, ahem, no - I wasn't selected this year.

I (Chris) finally gave in this evening given the rain had stopped for a bit and cut the front lawn. However, the household vote was to retain the meadow out back so it had a stay of execution.
