Our House?
Today, the weather here has been quite odd. It was torrential rain when I got up this morning, looking as though it was going to continue for days. However, I had seen the charts and thought we would have a few dry hours around mid-day. Sure enough not long after mid-day the clouds cleared and the sun broke through, so even though it was very wet under foot it was quite pleasant out. Unfortunately this will probably not last that long as the next lot of rain should already be on its way. Nevertheless, I needed to go and collect my medications from our local pharmacy, about a half-mile walk from the house and I decided to make use of the sunshine and go up there, just after he reopened at 1400 hours. It was a very pleasant walk, although it looked as though it was going to rain on the way there, but fifteen minutes later, on the way back the weather had improved considerably again. On the way home, I took this picture of the hill directly in front of our house, from the far side of the hill. This hill slops up gradually from the side on which this photograph was taken and plunges at 45 degrees into the cutting, containing the road in front of our house. The top of the roof of our house is hidden behind the hill and would only be about a third of the way in from the right edge and about a quarter of the way up the hill from the bottom of the picture, if it was visible.
