Wave Clouds

Today has been glorious, clear blue skies, fabulous snow, wonderful skiing but ferociously windy and cold. Hence these wave clouds coming over towards the end of the day, as the forecast for tomorrow is not too good. When I flew hang gliders and paragliders in another life, we used to spend a lot of time looking at the sky and the clouds, trying to assess the significance of these waves and what they would mean for our flight.
