I don't really know the name to use for the relationship to Danny but I have always considered him family first.

His life was nearly taken so many years ago in traffic accident but he never gave up... Two transplants but he always bounced back... He was always there...

As a child what I will always remember Danny and my dad (the boys) playing pinochle against Betty (his wife) and my mom (the girls)..

I found out yesterday that he was gone...

Since I will always remember him playing pinochle, it only seemed fitting to me to send him off with the best possible hand..
