Harold and the swans

Some whooper swans have arrived on the loch today. In the foreground is Harold our Shetland tup (ram) and a couple of calves.

Had to phone the opticians today to book an appointment. Don't think I have been since high school. I noticed the other day that when looking at an eagle soaring over the hill in the distance that I was seeing it in double vision. I closed one eye and then the other and discovered that it was the left eye seeing double and my vision at middle ground is blurred but up close is ok. Might explain the migraine the other day. Not best impressed and it was hard to make an appointment to match with the ferries so Saturday is closest day I can do.
