Long shadows

After a day of torrential rain, the sun reappeared late afternoon.

I took this on my way to the car park at my gym. The long shadows of the trees looked interesting and i havent seen it like this before.

The days are becoming longer although, in spite of the metereologists telling us that Spring began yesterday, we have 3 more weeks before the Spring Equinox.
