Just a small part...

of a much larger painting i started yesterday.   The overall piece is about
24" x 28".....i worked on it all afternoon yesterday and when i looked at it this morning i have a better sense of where to go next. I love taking small areas and cropping them so give me a better sense of balance.  At the moment it is not balanced!   but i just loved this new red pastel i got last week....it's so rich!

 I spent the day up in Sydney, delivering the ugly mugs.....and doing some retail therapy!   Got some lovely buys at VV., always a treat..and it was seniors day....so 30% off!!!

It's been so unusually mild here for the past week, it has put everyone in such good spirits....maybe we have broken the back of winter and we're heading into warmer days!!!
