The Extra Day

I packed a lot into the extra 24 hours. Some say it should be a national holiday, others complain it is a day many of us work for free. A special day for the ladies, when it is our one chance every four years to propose.

I got to thinking about those are born or get married on this date - which day do you celebrate on for the next three years. But more difficult perhaps those who mourn family and friends who pass away on 29 February. To only have connection every four years must be quite hard and leave a void at anniversary time.
