'Don't mind if I do,' he said, pleased for the chance to take the weight off his dog tired legs. He'd only been walking for a morning but it sure as hell felt like three weeks or something.

'Where you heading mister?' she asked, business like now as a small queue had suddenly started to form.

'Oh, down south I guess,' he offered. It's all he had to offer really.
