Tiny Tuesday - Rusty Bolt

A busy day - trying to create / clean some space for some visitors on Tuesday night.

I went out with Finlay late morning - after the rain stopped. We went up the old  layby again - past where we had blipped yesterday's 'Leaping Pig'. Someone had reset the jump that the pig had knocked down! Traffic on the A1 southbound was at a standstill due to an accident just south of Bramham.

I popped out to Wetherby after lunch - and all the local access roads were blocked with traffic that was coming off the A1 to avoid the jam which was still there!

Our daughter, her husband and our granddaughter arrived around tea time - they and Mrs madwill are off to Las Vegas and Los Angeles for a couple of weeks. I am babysitting their dogs - so walks should be 'interesting'.

A stupidly early start in the morning - hardly worth going to bed!

If found this rusty old nut and bolt - holding one of the hinges for a gate on the opposite side of the post. I liked the little bit of lichen just sitting on the nut
