the ducks are back in town

Grabbed my compact camera - (nearest to hand) - and shot this quickly through slated blinds (and a window).  Then I discover the camera was still on macro setting.  It all looked a bit ….. vague.  Only had the one shot so had to wang (another form of faffing) the contrast slider all the way to max.  The other option was to use a fog filter and pretend that it was foggy.  Which it wasn’t.  As you probably know.

While Mr Duck waited, Mrs Duck was just round the corner of the house inspecting last year’s nest site.  So - could this be the same pair?  If so, they’re much earlier.  And lets hope (warning - plot spoiler) the outcome is much happier than last time.

This is yet another reason why I love Blip - it’s our own personal soap opera.  Smiles and tears.  Tune in for another episode of ‘the ducks are back in town’.
