Auspicious Start

We picked up Gypsies 63 Corvair today, first, the alternator was not working and they had to charge the battery and jump start it. After going 20 miles it died on us again. We pushed it to start it, got under way, 1st gear, going strong, 2nd gear powering up the hill, 3rd gear, BANG. There goes the gear box. Not a good start to it's new life with us. Roxie will live (and cruise) again.
