Frustration

When I first titled this blip “Frustration” it was reflecting the frustration I had today in trying to configure my “Archer D7” modem-rooter to work on BT Infinity 1.  Little did I know it would finally describe the experience in getting the shot I wanted of the rooter.  Umpteen trips back to the ‘studio’ and twenty odd shots later .  .  . (ok, I gave up!).
 
The security on the BT Home Hub 5 is almost expressed in negative terms with BT being able to see exactly what equipment you have connected, let alone anything else.  If BT can who else?
 
Unfortunately the Archer D7 does not appear to be compatible with Infinity 1 – I shall just have to look further a field (unless any blipper out there knows of a work around .  .  . ??).
 
For the techies, you may notice that the ethernet and wireless lights are on but not the DSL.  Mind you you  may also notice that there is no DSL cable plugged in, so what more would you expect .  .  . ? (It would have been flashing anyway, and that doesn’t show on a still).
