Crossing the road

..in Chennai. It was not for the faint hearted! The trick is, start walking slowly and keep going, then the traffic will negotiate a way around you. If you stop there is no hope!!
We were astounded at the lack of apparent traffic rules. When approaching a roundabout, no one stops. Cars, buses, Tuk Tuks, mopeds, bicycles and cows all go straight onto the roundabout, swerve around each other and miraculously seem to emerge at their exit road  unscathed!
