Thanksgiving Break starts tomorrow for my school, but the one class that I have tomorrow before noon was canceled.
I came home early expecting to be received like a princess by my parents. I wanted them to be so excited to see me. It didn't happen though, and it never does. Am I upset by it? No, not at all. It's typical.
My family doesn't express emotion.
I am excited to see them, and they are excited to me even if we don't acknowledge it like other families might.

The one family member who was truly excited to see me, and who I missed the most without a doubt is my dog, Lacey.

I'm glad to be home regardless.

I won't be disappointed however when I have to go back to school, because I already miss some of my sisters.
