Easter Bonnet!

This year The Workshop and Loft Gallery are having an exhibition of Easter Bonnets to raise money for Syrian refugees.  Lots of artists and craftspersons have been encouraged and persuaded to make whatever kind of hat which takes their fancy.  I decided to crochet and knit lots of different flowers onto my old sunhat.  There is even a bumblebee on it!

The hats have to be in while we are away, so I  handed it over to J this morning when I took her to get the plaster cast taken off her leg.  Oh, the relief on her face when she came back to the waiting room without it!  Not exactly skipping, but definitely more bounce!

Off to the East Neuk of Fife this evening, on the overnight ferry, so blipping and commenting will be as and when I can over the next couple of weeks.  Must dash and finish loading the car now, so cheerio!
