Pig and Coffee Table

Another full on day of admin. and following up with my client base using Linked In a lot.

Had to do a quick tour of the house for a blip and you see here our wooden pig from Brazil with our coffee table. Only a few books are visible but there are over fifty of all sorts under the glass surface.

Left to right on show are a book on Plantation Living in in Brazil in times of slavery by Gilberto Freyre, The New Oxford Book of English Verse chosen by Helen Gardner which I acquired on 21st January 1982, a photo book on the Hungarian Revolution (how we regret not having been on blip when we lived there for nearly four years), a book featuring the sculptor Clemente Ochoa who has his workshop directly across from our house, and a wonderful book of photos on Egypt, presented to me by LoJardinier, titled Fils de Roi by Denis Dailleux.
