Almost 3 months on....

It's almost 3 months since the disastrous floods hit Cumbria and there is still plenty of evidence of the events.

A pre-breakfast trip to the Derwent Landing Stages in Keswick showed this damaged jetty, the steps up to the jetty were gone and there was this missing section of the wooden jetty, and a large branch still draped across it. Quite a few of the piles were broken or missing altogether.

It's going to take a long time for everything to be repaired, but the people in the area who are so dependent upon the tourist trade need the visitors to come back to keep them in business.
