Fall, Heading to Winter

I now realize that I've never very much liked warm colors -- all my life I've preferred cooler colors. I make an exception for fall colors, because they're so vivid, and also because I just love everything about fall.

But the warm colors of fall are becoming more muted these days, and we're heading into the season of drab warm colors. By January or February, I'll be so desperate for bright colors that I'll be taking pictures of signs (really!). By the time March rolls around, I'll feel like a dying man begging for water -- only I'll be begging for color.
