Happy anniversary!

Okay, so it's still about 3 weeks to my birthday and I've missed this anniversary by two days, but it's still worth celebrating. Henceforth, this morning I treated myself to this not-so-little tome, commemorating 50 years since the Stones first performed live as a band on July 12, 1962. I was in Grade 2 and probably still about 2-3 years away from becoming a fan, but the day I first heard 'Paint it Black' was the day I was hooked for life! Still arguably the greatest performing rock'n'roll band the world has seen. Happy 50th anniversary to Mick, Keef, Charlie and 'newcomer' Ronnie.
