Sick day. . . stayed home from school, although with how quickly he cleared up, I'm thinking it may have been allergies.  I never know.  Whatever the case, I have a kid who realized how "un-fun" it is to stay home sick and is eager to get back to school tomorrow.  

This morning, through puffy eyes and sniffles, Alex realized his spelling test was today and asked me if I would read him the spelling words as he set up his paper just like they do in school.  He took his test over a bowl of cereal with a roll of toilet paper within arms reach, posted up on his stool in the crazy way that he sits daily.  Couldn't help but capture it from behind (see extra photos).
