Gate Lodge

This is an entrance to Bantry House, not the main entrance, I'm looking across a stretch of water known as the slob. It was rather a blip and run again because of the rain. The best part of the day was spent clearing an area of scrub for tree planting and creating a new path through a woodland. late afternoon I headed out to Future Forest, a nursery specialising in trees, so some native Scots Pine, Oak and Mountain Ash, a few European Larch were purchased. These will be mingled in with the many self seeded Birch that I have at home.
