'Charlie Parr'

Had a brilliant night at the Sooki Lounge in Belgrave tonight.

I've been listening to Charlie Parr's music for about 5 years now since I first discovered him, and I never thought I'd have an opportunity to see him live, so tonight was a very special gig for me. I got to meet the man, shake his hand and tell him how much I love his music. In return he was happy for me to take photographs at the gig tonight. He is extremely photogenic in my opinion and I couldn't help trying new angles and looking for small expressions which made this photoshoot one of my favourites ever.

He was also supported by 'Eagle And The Wolf' from the NSW Central coast. They were also a real surprise to me as I'd never heard of them before, but now can't wait to explore more of their music. I bought two of their CD's from them as a package deal and really looking forward to giving them a spin in the car tomorrow.

Very late now, so must get to bed, but still on a big high tonight.
