Waking up.

Our small alpine house is showing signs of waking up.

This is one of the first plants to come into flower. It is a Fritillaria. As so often I have lost the label but I think it may be F. Raddeana. They are not easy to photograph because the flowers always hang down.

The extra today was taken when we visited the house of a friend. She collects old bottles and this is a tiny corner of her display. There were also dozens of blue ones which are apparently worth more. Anyone looking for a new hobby?
