Manky puppy inspects progress

The Path Man arrived at ten to eight. I had just finished a difficult conversation with Daisy about science and was in the middle of tearing the house apart for the Harry Potter glasses which Will had been wearing ten minutes previously. He had "just put them on the table and now I can't find them". I told the Path Man he was too early and he should go back and sit in his van. We never did find the glasses (so very weird), Will went off in two thirds of his costume, I picked the dog poo up in the garden and opened the back gate, made the man and boy coffee and then went to a two hour meeting which at one point got really quite worrying. It was frankly a torrid morning.

But then I went for a walk at lunchtime, what a very beautiful day. The dog is utterly annoying at times but when it means I go out away from all the mentalness she is worth her weight in gold. The sun was out, a light breeze and lots of other dog walkers all happy that it might be spring soon, we had a fab time.

And after our walk, I got an email apology and retraction from the science teacher, Will is a very stoic boy and had a fab book day and the worryingly alarming thing was all resolved and didn't happen. (Will's head still apparently "really hurts" though just to remind me that I am still horrible)

Haircut day for Jay and Will, it's the manky puppy's turn tomorrow.....
