The 13th (Again!)

As you may have picked up from yesterday's blip, Tess's Dad's health continues to deteriorate and, in consultation with his wonderfully caring doctor, we had to make the decision not to put him through the distress of any more treatment.

He's been able to stay in the care home where he's been for the last year, where the staff he's come to know as friends are caring for him with genuine affection. He's peaceful and comfortable and we've been able to sit with him for the last couple of days.

Tess insisted that I got out on the golf course this morning (after I'd insisted she go to Keep Fat last night) so here's yet another shot of my favourite trees on the 13th. It was an overcast morning so I thought it looked better in mono.
