True Red
I had a fabulous photo outing today with fellow blipper Osuzanna at Catoctin Mountain National Park. We walked over 5 miles through the pretty winter woods. Our primary destination was a waterfalls, which was an experience to photograph, but our biggest prize was our encounter with this gorgeous Pileated Woodpecker. We didn't see many birds, but it didn't matter after we took many photos of this guy. In the extra I have included him at work on what looked to be his favorite log. The chips were flying.
