Dusit Thani

I am working again this week, possibly for the last time in this role! Ramadan starts next week and everything shuts down, and post summer, I really hope to be doing something completely different, God willing!

The Dusit Thani is a 5 star Thai hotel chain and has quite a spectacular lobby/atrium. I am here till Wednesday, so you may well see more of this hotel.

One of the striking things is the live musician(s) they have who play a variety of woodwind and string instruments on and off through the day. They are on ground level and I am on the mezzanine and it is amazing the way the sound lifts up and resonates filling the whole area. The acoustics are perfect. There's nothing quite like live music, even if it isn't particularly your style!
