Halong Bay

Margie, who doesn't like being on ships generally, loved the cruising amongst the islands on our smooth quiet uncomplicated Junk. We visited spectacular caves, cycled to a small village on Cat Ba Island, swam in the East Sea (aka the South China Sea), ate another spectacular meal and fished for squid attracted to a light hung off the back of the boat. Our last night as a party of six so it is fortunate that we enjoyed it.
