Crummock Water

I stayed at a low level while my other half walked the Coledale Horseshoe.

Once I'd deposited him at the start of his walk just outside the village of Braithwaite, I headed over to Lanthwaite Woods and decided to walk all the way around Crummock Water. This photo is the view looking back towards Buttermere and Fleetwith Pike.

The extras are another view across Crummock Water, and my only elevated section through Rannerdale. The latter is famous for it's "open-air" bluebells later in the Spring.

We both had splendid walks!!
