FUN(d raiser) ....

.... unfortunately I missed our Open day for the "Official Open" of our BLACKHEATH BLIPPING Expo!

Had a previous commitment with the Prostate Cancer Support Group's fun afternoon raising some funds to continue the "support" work needed in the area.

Our Pres. David was travelling last year in central Queensland and ran into the Mel & Susie on Tour Show with Mel & Susie of course. 

He laughed so much, we  decided to arranged for them on their travelling back from shows in Victoria to drop off via Penrith, and today was the show.

We had 119 come which was great, and it was absolute "hoot",.

My pic shows one skit, where they got David dressed up and it was a riot. An afternoon of Aussie bush poems, song, and "bull"!!!

Everyone went home happy, and the treasurer was happy with the funds raised. And, I should say the venue arranged Penrith Gaels Club were just so supportive in every way, thank you.

... tomorrow is my spot to man the Expo for a couple of hours, the plan being promoting "BLIPFOTO" and the chance of having some new Blippers join in with their "daily journal".
