Beinn na Caille,Drambuie,Marble Bridge

Beneath Beinn na Caille on the Isle of Skye ,the Broadford Hotel where the liquor Drambuie was first produced. The receipt was given to Clan Mackinnon by Bonnie Prince Charlie in 1746, who 100 years later gave it to the owner of the Broadford Hotel who refined it and started distilling. The Bridge on the right ,a replica recently erected,of the bridge that carried Skye Marble from The Torrin Quarries on the way to Elgol ,to the ships in Broadford Bay.A wonderful marble from which the steps of St Paul's Cathedral were made .
