AFTER THE SNOW

The snow was thick when I looked out at 4am and still snowing at 5am and 6am.

If this cough would cease I wouldn't be such a weather monitor.

It was insisted that I go to the doctor so at least it had stopped snowing by the time we went shopping late morning, and it soon melted away.

I came out of the surgery with more than I bargained for as my blood pressure has shot up.  So it is antibiotics for my chest, blood tests, and I have to record my blood pressure twice a day for a week and hand it in at the surgery.

Though maybe the blood pressure could explain the dizzy moments I've had lately.

Oscar arrived this evening for the weekend so we snuggled up and watched the cycling on the telly.
