Glossy Ibis

The Glossy Ibis like the raised water level in the Wadi from all the rain and are very sociable, the small flock feeding and moving on down the river together, if one gets disturbed they all immediately take to the air, usually just to come straight back down again. They are so friendly that it is difficult to get a shot of one Ibis on its own, because when you look closely their feathers are much more colourful than you first expect, with greens and purples in amongst those brown feathers.
