Bark and bite

The hares have been at it again. According to theory this tree is too old to be an attractive lunch, but you can see age was no bar for this one. You can see that the smaller trees still have their coats on.
I collected a parcel containing seeds and xylitol for a belated new-age diet. We are going to make marmalade with the xylitol.
