Star Turn!

Tonight a league fixture, at home against Solway.  it was due to face off at seven but was over an hour late due to a very bad tempered 20's game before hand including a long injury delay after one of the worst hits I have ever seen.

The twelves game was tight from the off but we were always in control, the guys all played well even after having played against Scotland last night.  Mimi's net was under a lot of pressure and she as stoic in her resistance but gave up a goal in the third period, a good shot with her being screened by a forward on the edge of her crease she saw it very late and despite getting her glove on it she couldn't keep it out. She picked herself up and was right back in action showing no ill effects of the wrist injury from earlier in the week during the game but was sore afterwards.

As the teams lined up to shake hands she went down the line fist bumping the opposition a few minutes later and a further accolade a Man of the Match award for her fabulous performance
