Dew

There was definitely nothing but dust left on the walking track this morning.  Hundreds of people walking round and round the track had worn off all the grass.

But when I went across the park to pick up the van, so we could start loading our stuff, there was dew to be found where no-one had walked.

Absolutely shattered today - and I didn't do half the walking that some did!  The Relay for Life ended at 9 a.m. and it was great to hear that our team was one of the top three fundraisers.  Yay.  Worth the effort.

Once I got home and my sister and niece had headed off back to Christchurch, I had a shower.  Followed by a soak in a bath.  It is a wonderful feeling to be clean after sleeping in a chair in the clothes you've walked many kilometres in!
