Eruption of Lady Knox Geyser

Meet Lady Knox Geyser! It's located in Wai-O-Tapu Rotorua and is induced to erupt daily at 10.15am. The guide dropped a bit of detergent (if I am not wrong) into the opening of the geyser so as to induce its eruption.

We are really lucky because of the rainbow formed during its eruption. Amazing view!

We went walking around the geothermal wonderland. The smell of sulphur is so overwhelming that I can hardly breathe! It's also hard to take nice photos over there because of the heavy smoke produced.

I think ammonia might smell worst...
