Pennine

It's not like us to be up and out early on a Saturday but 11yo had declared an interest in the local ParkRun so we took the bus down in time for the 9am start. He enjoyed running the 5k with some of his school friends and I expect we'll be back for more at some point.

I was then planning to take in the Guiseley v Wrexham match, but that had been called off. Instead I took up a late invitation to join up with some family at my sister's in Greetland. It was there that the late afternoon light on the other side of the valley drew me out.
