Oh Hollyhocks!

In a week we will be in Montenegro. 32 degrees there at the moment.
Hollyhocks are formally called Alcea. Apparently the flowers and the roots can be prepared as a tea infusion to treat coughs, bronchitis and soar throat; I am thinking a trip to Boots might be quicker and more effective.
This evening we are all off the The Black Rat, it has a great reputation so we are looking forward to it. The owner also has The Black Boy pub, it is described as a typical back street boozer and The Black Bottle, a wine bar. His latest idea is to create a B&B to be called The Black Hole.
