No1 peanut in Oz

No1 peanut has reached Adelaide after an extremely longer-than-anticipated journey!

First her plane from Manchester to Dubai sat on the tarmac in the snow for over 2 hours while it was de-iced, froze over and de-iced again, so she missed connecting flight to Adelaide. The peanut then got 3 hours' sleep after eventually being assigned a hotel in Dubai.

She was rebooked to fly to Brisbane with a connecting flight to Adelaide. Guess what, flight from Brisbane got in 'technically' too late for the peanut to connect with her flight to Adelaide. I suspect that by this stage her 'flight or fight' reactions had definitely sided on the 'fight' side, as she insisted on making a mad sprint across the airport to reach the Domestic Terminal at Brisbane. I am happy to report that she boarded the flight to Adelaide!

So there she is. After depositing luggage at her chum's house they headed out immediately to enjoy the city and environs.
