Smelly Delhi revisited.

Caught the Train at 05:00 as planned and arrived back in the capital city of this vast country for the 3rd time.  Decided that I'd spared you long enough and took this last visit to Delhi as an opportunity to show you some of the downsides.
Abject poverty, 3 & 4 y.o. children begging on the streets, and living on them as well.  Litter and building debris abounds, with no serious attempts to remove what small percentage is brushed together by conscientious traders, few though they may be.
Shanty towns on many corners, and semi high-rise slum boxes in the suburbs.
Pavements worse than Glasgow in the 50s, and that was after the blitz!  Oh, and cow shit, dog shit and that previously belonging to my fellow man wherever you go.
Really happy to be getting a plane back to Goa tomorrow, despite the fact that it will be really hot on the beach and we will need to resort to conventional European cooling methods: bier, cerveza, birra, BEER!
