Happy Mothering Sunday to all you mums

A cold day and now it's raining. I looked in the pond to see how the imported frogs spawn is coping, difficult to tell but its looking good. The empty house below us has a pond and last year when visiting Harry we spotted a great raft of spawn. John was checking the property a few days ago and brought back some for our new pond. A pleasant memory of Harry, along with a number of snow drop plants he gave me a few years ago. Somehow pleasing to walk amongst them and remember him, it's nearly a year since he died. I did a ladies who lunch a few days ago, two of the lunchers were also friends of his and we reminisced pleasantly and sadly for a few minutes.
