Thoughts : A second day of sunshine. Walking from bus to train, I pass down Boar Lane. Usually the rain keeps my head down. It spatters on my glasses, which I hate. But on mornings like this, I look up and I am happy. Above the modern shop fronts in Leeds City Centre, the more ornate, original mouldings have been retained. Pillars, turrets, domes and spires reflect the warmth of the sun.

And so what if they are augmented by a little rogue shrubbery.
