Finch lunch

The Cooriedog walk goes through a field with an exultation of skylarks (what a wonderful collective noun to have).  While Coorie ignores other birds, for some reason the skylarks grab her attention and get her a little excited.  I used to think it was because of Coorie's discerning musical ear but I think it may be more basic.  Anyway, the skylarks are becoming a lilies more active which adds to the joy of the walk and the challenge of keeping Coorie under control.

Later, we settled have a cup of tea outside - it was pleasantly warm.  the bird feeder was busy.  In the blip, I got a greenfinch, a chaffinch and a goldfinch.  It may have been a finch conference.  they seemed perfectly happen in one another company.
